Treating a young dog with arthritis
The gorgeous 4-year-old Golden Retriever, Oscar, came in to see us for a check-up last week.
Previously, Oscar suffered from the constant pain of spondylosis and hip dysplasia. His owner Jenna had tried everything (painkillers, hydro, physio) but sadly Oscar was still suffering.
Numerous vets said there was nothing that could be done other than management.
Desperate for a solution, while doing some research online, Jenna came across Stem Cell Vet (and we’re so glad she did)!
Oscar was then treated with platelet-rich plasma and joint fluid at Stem Cell Vet. We are happy to share that Oscar had a terrific result to the treatment. He is pain free and back to enjoying being the young playful boy that he is.
We are so proud of you Oscar!

Do you have a young dog with arthritis or a related condition?
Regenerative medicine can help your dog have the best quality of life possible.
It has been suggested that dogs who have arthritis, or a related condition like hip or elbow dysplasia, and receive stem cell treatment at an early age will suffer less from arthritis than those that have surgery or are not treated at all.
