If your Galen Myotherapist has recommended Stem Cell Vet, the first step is simply to get in touch. Our friendly client care team will arrange a free telephone conversation to learn about your dog, answer your initial questions and explain how we may be able to help.

Speak with a stem cell vet
Following your initial conversation, we’ll invite you to a video consultation with our founder and veterinary surgeon, Dr Stewart Halperin. We’ll discuss your dog’s condition, medical history and mobility concerns, and explore whether our specialist treatments could be suitable.

A personalised plan for your dog
If we believe we can help, we’ll explain the next steps, which may include an in-person assessment and a tailored treatment plan. With your permission, we’ll work alongside your Galen Myotherapist and regular vet to support your dog’s mobility, comfort and long-term wellbeing.
What happens at your first appointment?
The starting point is understanding your dog’s history, comfort and movement—not choosing a treatment in advance.

Time to understand the whole picture
An in-person consultation can include:
- A review of your dog’s medical history and existing test results.
- A veterinary examination and assessment of movement.
- A discussion about appropriate care, including regenerative options where suitable.

With your consent, relevant information can be shared with your regular vet and Galen Myotherapist to support a coordinated approach.
A referral starts with an assessment. It does not mean your dog will need, or be suitable for, stem cell treatment.
